Do virtuous women need virtuous men?

I have been a long time in adding to this for many reasons. My not so virtuous husband has done a lot of terrible things to me and we are in midst of divorce. Who am I tell anyone how to have a good marriage? No one really, but I read the BIBLE and it is the BIBLE that has brought about the huge rift in my marriage. I posted the Ten Commandments and in a few days my husband was out the door, telling me he didn't like "rules" even from GOD. Those commandments convicted him of his adultery, would be my best guess. I was 99% sure he was not faithful and that sort of clinched it in my mind. And so what will be,will be. Here is what I want to share with you today as I study how to be the right kind of woman:
from Ezekiel chapter 24, 44-49:
"yet they went in unto her,as they go in unto a woman that playeth the harlot; so went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the lewd women. And the righteous men, they shall judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed blood, because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands. For thus saith THE LORD GOD: I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled. And the company shall stone them with stones and and dispatch them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn their houses with fire. Thus will I cause the lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may not be taught to do after your lewdness. And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your idols, and ye shall know that I am THE LORD GOD."
Of course, I am not advocating stoning men or women in adultery, but this passage does reveal how GOD HIMSELF thinks about adultery. It is not a casual sin to GOD and in fact, the way I understand this scripture, it is so offensive that GOD considers it as tainting the entire nation. I am certain that it has nearly broken my heart, but GOD will see me through this as HE always has and in time, there will be happiness in my life again. This passage also mentions the idolatry that was the root cause of the sins of adultery. I have studied the BIBLE much since a very small child and I am absolutely convinced that the worship of idols is what destroys all nations, when the people turn away from GOD's laws to the things made by humans to worship and offend GOD. If you are guilty of idolatry, or adultery, please repent for your own sake, for the sake of your soul and the right-standing with GOD. Even if you don't love your wife, it is the right thing to do, to get a divorce before you start other relationships. Adultery breaks the marriage ties, and the trust, and is the one reason that JESUS said that divorce was allowed.
If I have not said before, that I am Christian then I am telling you that now.
